Meditation does not have to be about wearing a robe, sitting in the lotus position, chanting, or being silent and secluded. Though, it can be, if you decide that's what works for you. 

  It is, however, about subtly changing your outlook on things, and learning how to enjoy a more satisfying life!  It is also a proven way to relieve stress and thereby improve your overall health. Every religion has at least one meditation tradition associated with it, and most have many.  There are also a number of non-religious meditations for health and relaxation.  This means that anyone, of any faith, or no faith at all, and in any walk of life can enjoy the benefits of meditation.

  Practitioners at Lazuli Oriental Medicine have experience with various meditation styles. While we do not currently offer classes, we are happy to address your concerns and provide some basic advice.  Quieting your mind during treatment can help you get the most benefit out of acupuncture.
